AC Valhalla: Paris Siege Kill or spare King Charles: Decision and Repercussions
Eivor will have two alternatives to choose from:
- I will spare Charles
- Charles must die
The following occurs if you choose "I will spare Charles" (Choice Consequences).
The queen will be happy if you choose “I will spare Charles”. Moving on in the game, you have the choice to save his life since you choose to be merciful. He will still need to be defeated, but you have the option to trap him.
How to Trap Crazy King Charles to Save His Life
Essentially, you will need to entice Charles to capture him once his energy is exhausted. Keep in mind that this option is only accessible on Default (Vikingr) difficulty, so you won't be able to spare his life if you're playing on Easy. Make sure you stun the king to reduce his health. When you reduce your opponent's stamina, the more hurt he is, the more shocked he will stay. Once you've managed to get him inside, exit the chamber, pull the lever, and lower the gate.
Charles is forced to vow by Eivor that he and his army would never visit England. When Richardis shows there, they converse, and she says, "Leave us; everything will work out as I promised."
